Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a unique item that will make certain Pokemon change. The upgrade is obtained by spinning a photo disc. It's often given as a prize in Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be placed in armor, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets to increase their item level. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, dependent on the kind of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be placed into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give attribute bonuses or additional effects while the equipment is being used. The item being upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot that can accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be at a certain level. Certain upgrade items come with special effects that can be seen when they are used. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, bought by Karma merchants or traded with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and received as rewards.
Various upgrade components are available, each of which offers an individual bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, are able to be used in any type of equipment; they provide smaller bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are utilized in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, while enhancements are utilized for certain ascended back items. Slotting in an upgrade component will destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be used in gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and reinserted.
Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia will change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures and ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you look up and insert these unique characters along with standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost in stats for the character. It also includes up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a new window showing the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the selected item. Be aware that only the correct type of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for and every weapon, jewelry or armor piece can have a different set of available Glyphs.
Glyphs can be upgraded by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more challenging the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience that you will gain. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it is able to be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a glyph has been elevated to the desired level, you can activate it by selecting it, then pressing the "enchant" button. The Glyph you create will provide its stated benefit, and increase the number of nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs in the best locations to benefit your build, and this is why it's a good idea to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonuses in the event that certain conditions are fulfilled.
Click the cycle widget to change the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by selecting an option under "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs; Math symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method in which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to play an item or character you are interested in. This can be done for you to increase your level faster or to gain more loot, such as an additional weapon for your character. Many players reroll until they get the characters they like, regardless of their power. It could be that they like the style or the personality of the character.
When you reroll, you have be sure that the changes you're making are safe. This means that you must verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit checks, and you should also conduct a core development test. Upload the patch with a clear distinction to a bug (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls may be weeks or days long depending on how fortunate you are. To cut down on time avoid enemy camps that are not required during this time. Additionally you should not re-do any quests that are completed later in the game. This can save you time and energy.
Another crucial aspect to remember when rerolling is to be sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to boost your character's strength and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. Additionally, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling isn't necessary but it's a way to increase the chances of acquiring a certain character or weapon. It can be helpful in the case of trying to find the most effective character or if you're wanting to test different builds and play styles.
Sets
A set is an object collection that has two common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets can be used for operations such as intersection, union and differences.
Upgrades make a set better than it was before. For item upgrades and weapons this means it will gain an increased base defense value as well as less strength requirements and a lower amount of requirement.
Upgrades can bring items that are popular from single sets up to parity with items in higher-level sets. Upgrades such as Guillaume's Face Helm to the Elite Spired helmet could increase the defense from 217 up to 321 and lower the strength requirements and levels to an acceptable range.
However, it's important to note that not all set items are suitable candidates for upgrading. Certain sets, such as the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzlers are exceptional in their own way and don't require any upgrades. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their stats even more. For these types of products, it might be worth the extra expense to upgrade them.
